Cover: saec. XVIII, leather with embossed decorations and with clasps, tightly bound</p> <p> Watermark: arms in crowned shield. Divided in fess: above dexter a tower, sinister maybe an eagle. Beneath: an oval arch, under it an ornament likening an inverted letter P touching a letter P, standing back to back. In escutcheon: pale (dexter) four almost horizontal stripes, (sinister) an upright antler. The shield is held by two animals, probably lions rampant, facing each other.
