On the spine: 'Breadalbane, Regiam maiestatem, etc.'</p> <p> Watermark: bell flower, ca. 40 x 25 mm (fol. 3, 4, 123, 125, 126, 127, 129).</p> <p> Handwriting: the main text starts on fol. 5r in a hand of the late 16th century. Most pages are written in light brown ink which contrasts very little with the faded colour of the paper. Reading thus requires a painstaking effort, and in many places the text cannot be read securely at all.</p> <p> Fol. 1-2 and fol. 16-17 (which are connected to them) may have been added at a later time, but this is not clear
