Cover: a.1969, leather on cardboard. The previous binding, also in leather, had embossed vignettes on both covers, showing the University's emblem - which is equally shown on a bookplate glued to the inside of the front cover: in the middle a mace, with a tree to the left and a bell to the right, and a fish beneath, and with inscription 'via, veritas, vita', continued beneath: 'Ab animo caliginem dispellere'</p> <p> Watermark: arms of Amsterdam (pag. 270, 287, 311 good, 327), perhaps with countermark PB in large letters (pag. 269 good); fool (pag. 297, 301, 307 good, 343, 349) with countermark large letters PM (pag. 293, 351, 355)
