XVII</p> <p> Watermark: jug, small, with letters I and beneath PL, on the lid five spikes, bearing two, one, three, one, two balls; jug with letters ML and beneath I or L, on collar a lying half moon, on the lid five spikes with balls on top (two, one, three, one, two), above the middle a short vertical line, holding a lying half moon (e.g. in the title 'Of poynding within burghe'); jug with letters S and beneath BS, on the lid five spikes, probably each bearing two balls, above the middle a small four-petaled blossom (in the title 'Replegiatioun') - and maybe still other kinds of jugs, but all are weak and thus difficult to discern
