  • Curia Justitiaria soverani domini nostri regis, tenta in praetorio burgi de Edinburgh ultimo die mensis Novembris anno domini millesimo sexcentesimo trigesimo primo, per honorabilem et discretum virum magistrum Alexandrum Colvill de Blair, justiciarium deputatum Justiciarii Generalis soverani domini nostri regis totius regni sui Scotiae ubilibet constitutus, sectis vocatis et curia legittime affirmata.

    The quhilk day James Lord Ochiltree, being presentit upon pannell dilatit accusit and persewit at the instance of Sir Thomas Hope of Craighall, Knight, Baronnet, Advocat to our soveragne Lord for his hienes interess of the making and venting of leasings, calumnies and slanderous speeches against James Marquis of Hamiltoun, the Erles of Haddingtoun, Roxburgh and Buckcleugh, tending to the sewing of sedition betwixt the kings most excellent majestie and the forsaid noblemen, his majesties faithfull counsellors and loyall subjects
