  Gif ane man hald any land in few of any abbay.

Resp. as wes practised in the actione, if ane actione result and be made to the[! ={i}scrivener's error for{/i}'be'] peremptory indures[! ={i}garbled{/i}] the occasione of the warrandice and day may be apnit[! = assignit] to call ane warrand efter the proponeing of ane peremptor.

  Titius receavit chartor of certane lands to him and the airs maill of his body, quhilk failzieing: to the eldest femaill, without divisioun. Titius deceasand without any airs gottin of his body - bot ane brother, callit Sempronius, and ane sister, callit Lucretia. Queritur how might the chartor to be interpret, ... lands
