Cover: modern</p> <p> Watermark: jug with letters AM next to the lower right side(?), very faint, altogether 75 mm high (fol. 10, 20, 22, 26); fool, also faint and thus difficult to see, altogether 130 mm high (fol. 93, 219, 231, 234); jug with letters LB, on base a fleur-de-lis, handles' lines are parallel, along lid's upper rim a densely zigzagged or spiralled wire, on the lid five almost round skittles, each bearing three balls, above the middle a large four-petaled blossom, above it a fleur-de-lis, altogether 115 x 44 mm (fol. 237, 243, 246, 263, 290, 298, 301-303, frequent and consistent). Peter McNeill also noted that these watermarks may roughly be dated to saec. XVII medies vel XVII ex. (see reprint of Balfour's Practicks, p. xxxvi)
