XIX:{/i}] This volume appears to be a transcript of one of the two MSS volumes of the Earl of Haddington's Decisions, preserved in the Library of the Faculty of Advocates at Edinburgh. It is said that not more than a fourth part of the reports contained in those two volumes has ever been printed. They commence in the year 1592 and extend to 1624 [{i}This information was obviously taken from the notes at the end of 'Tait's Index' to Morison's Dictionary of Decisions. On a separate leaf follows a pertinent reference, in different handwriting{/i}]
