Beneath large letters, perhaps P A L M (fol. 1-2); heart with a multi-petaled blossom sprouting from it, and beneath the heart probably large letters, too weak to be recognized (fol. 3); hand, holding a chalice, and in it stands a trefoil (fol. 51-56, in the index to Balfour's Practicks). .</p> <p> The MS contains a recueil factice of individual leaves of letters and notes and accounts, etc. Among them are 18th century minutes of clerks of the Court of Session which noted interloquitors in individual cases.
