Cover: contemporary, leather on cardboard</p> <p> Watermark: eagle with two heads, spreading the wings - or a blossoming thistle? (fol. 1, 4-5, 12, 17, 22 [good], 25, 28, 45, 51, 151, 165, 176, 184, 199); jug, large, with letters I and beneath R, on base a four-petaled blossom, on collar a fleur-de-lis, handle's lines parallel, on the lid five almost round skittles, each bearing three balls, above the middle a four-petaled blossom, above it a fleur-de-lis (flyleaf i, fol. 73, 92, 100, 120, 126, 132, 138, flyleaf 201); bugle horn in a shield, simple (fol. 156, 164, 171, 191, 199).</p> <p> Handwriting: the text is written by several hands with quite similar characteristics, on three types of paper. Some leaves show heavy ink corrosion, e.g. 122, 134. Modern foliation in pencil, old pagination in ink. The present MS might have been the model from which MSS 25.2.1 and 25.2.3 were copied
