Cover: contemporary, in parchment

Watermark: jug, small, with letters LD and beneath maybe I, on handle's upper end three balls, on the lid four spikes, each with probably two balls on top, but I could not see this clearly, and it appears that above the middle of the lid, instead of a spike, there are probably two four-petaled blossoms above each other (fol. 1-60, 59 good); jug, large, richly decorated, with letters I and beneath OR, on base probably a trefoil, on collar a fleur-de-lis, on the lid five almost round skittles, each bearing three balls, above the middle a four-petaled blossom and a fleur-de-lis (fol. 58, 86 good); different jug, large, weak, with letters probably P and beneath probably PR, on the lid five elongated skittles, each bearing three balls, above the middle a four-petaled blossom and a fleur-de-lis (fol. 78, 94, 96, 148, 149).

Old foliation in ink on the inner margins. At the beginning of the volume eleven leaves have been torn out. The remaining leaves are numbered 6-150
