Cover: saec. XV.2 or XVI.1, leather with embossed decorations, on wood, with one preserved clasp. Analysed by Neil R. Ker, Medieval MSS in British Libraries, vol. 2, Oxford 1977, p. 15-16</p> <p> Watermark: three fleurs-de-lis in crowned shield (fol. 1, 31-62, 355-372); spear crossed by a sword, in a shield in whose middle stands a church prelate's staff, and the staff's curved upper part surmounts the shield (fol. 7-15, 66-104, 274-354); gothic letter p, large (fol. 27-28); bull's head, in the middle between the horns a vertical line, 45 mm long, its upper end is crossed by two diagonal lines to form an asterisk, the mark altogether being 75 mm high and 32 mm wide (fol. 111-271. Corresponding watermarks were found by Briquet in documents earliest from 1406 and latest from 1473. Paper produced in the Netherlands.
