Cover: ca. 1500, embossed leather on wood, with remnants of clasps. Analysed by Neil R. Ker, Medieval MSS in British Libraries, vol. 2, Oxford 1977, p. 15</p> <p> Watermark: bull's head, between the horns a vertical spike 30 mm high, its uppermost part crossed by two diagonal lines, thus forming an asterisk with six prongs, altogether 75 mm high and 40 wide (fol. 12-13, 79 - as also in MS 199); lamb holding a flag with Christ's monogram, in a circle of 34 mm diametre (fol. 14); scales, 68 mm high, 84 mm wide (fol. 93, 96); anchor, 65 mm high, flukes 35 mm wide, under its middle a circle and under it a cross formed from two lines, similar to the one in MS 257 (fol. 17, 19, 26, 38, 49); anchor, 79 mm high, flukes 23 mm wide, otherwise similar to previous anchors (fol. 117); anchor, 100 mm high, flukes 23 mm wide, otherwise again similar (fol. 121, 183, 204, 221, 244, 285, 293, shape very similar but not identical to nr. 156 of Vladimir Mošin [quoted in MS Aberdeen, UB, 199], attested in paper used in 1449 ); anchor, 90 mm high, flukes narrower than in previous anchors (fol. 138, 261, 270 )
