XVIII, leather on cardboard</p> <p> Watermark: jug, large, with letters M and beneath I V, on base a fleur-de-lis, on collar a lying half moon, handle's lines parallel, on the lid five skittles, each bearing three balls, above the middle a four-petaled blossom and directly above it a lying half moon (flyleaf at front, blank leaves at end, probably same watermark throughout the volume, but difficult to see because of dense lines in dark ink)
