The library holds several separate collections of MSS, accessible by means of an online data base, card files and typewritten folders. I have systematically searched them in 2009. The Hampton L. Carson Collection mainly consists of printed material, but it also comprises 101 MSS. Its card file was photographically reproduced and published in 1962. The MSS are listed in vol. 2 (keywords P - Z), under keyword “Manuscripts”
