Ius proprium Scotiae - Registers of Sederunt 1554-1627

Ius proprium Scotiae - Registers of Sederunt 1554-1627 , chronological index to a collection in some other MS.

The collection of Acts of Sederunt is referred to as 'Ledingtones' = thus directly or indirectly transcribed from a MS possessed by Sir Richard Maitland of Lethington. It is interesting to see that even Acts of Sederunt were here categorized as 'practicks'. The contents of the MS indexed obviously correspond in large part to those of the first part of MS Edinburgh, UL, Laing III.388a and MS Edinburgh, NR Scotland, RH13/1
