Decisiones curiae supremae Scotiae - Practicks 1573-1592: (1577/7/4 - 1584/4) .

Added to Maitland's Practicks as if this were not a separate work (see above). No mention of an author, and no title. The text breaks off at the same place where also other MSS break off - obviously at the end of a quire of their common model MS. However, the cumulative index at the beginning of the present MS shows that in origin the MS also comprised text copied from further quires of the model MS, namely until 1587. I thus assume that leaves were also lost here

  • [{i}First item:{/i}] After it be concludit in the caus, and protestatioune admittit quoad alias, no probatioune is receaveit. The Laird of Cambusnethane gaif in ane suplicatioune and desyrit, in the actioune betwixt him and my Lord Somervell, after that it was concludit in the cause and farder probatione renuncit (protestatioune being admittit quoad alias) to have diligence upon ane notar for the transuming of ane instrument.
