Ius proprium Scotiae - Practicks (general digest of law, alphabetical) 'Actiones' - 'Woods' (= Spottiswoode rearranged) .

Written by several hands saec. XVII.2, all relatively easily readable. The alphabetised version of Spottiswoode's Practicks was published in print in 1706, but it needs to be verified in detail to which extent the present MS corresponds to the printed edition.

[{i}Title only supplied in handwriting saec. XVIII, on flyleaf:{/i}] Sir Robert Spotiswoode's Practicks

Author(s):

  • Robert Spottiswoode

No. of pages: Fol. 1r-221r

Incipit:

  • [{i}First keyword's first items:{/i}] De actionibus.

    [{i}Last item:{/i}] Woods. Vide Cra(igium), li(bro) 2, dieg(esi) 6. Apud nos quaestionem fuisse audivi A. M. Da. Hamiltoun

Explicit:

  • Hic enim cum omnes Somervelii terras
