Acta litigationis Scotiae: minutes of interloquitors (1699-1700).

Modern foliation in pencil 1-75. Old foliation in ink at upper left corners from 259 to 385 (= fol. 61r) - thus continuing the old numbers in ink of Adv.MS.24.6.2 (1). Written by various hands, and various clerks of the court are mentioned. Some clerks noted the dates and names of the parties on the left margins, others noted them as headings above the pertinent items.

The Lords, haveing advised the debate, ordaind befor answer therto the persewers to produce the disposition and lykways the bonds of provision contained in the adjudication or any others in their hands upon oath, as also Helen and Janet to be re-examined as to what wes expressed by the father at the giveing the four hundereth merks for Janet and what wes expressed by Helen and Janet att giveing therof to Janet, and ordained the defender to produce the testament betuixt [{i}word missing{/i}] and Saturnday nixt.
