Short abstracts. The volume ends with a law report dated July 1747. The Library's Folio Catalogue states that the subsequent volume, Adv.MS.24.5.9, also contains Practicks by Lord Elchies, and that they start with a report fom November 1747. It may thus be that the two MSS belong together and contain one work in two volumes
