  • Ye are be vertew of your commissione to deside and judge in causes concerning benefices and teynds, in matters of scandell, confirmatione of testaments grit and small, within yearbounds all causes testamentar and in all uther matters quhairin oath of pairtie is requyred, if the same doth not exceed not[!] ii.c. libras, and in all uther actiones of widdows and poore orphanes, not exceeding 20 libras, and in all uther causes quhairin the parties submitts themselfes to zour jurisdictione
