Decisiones curiae supremae Scotiae - Practicks (digest of decisions), alphabetical, 1741 (Index of cases. Author and work not verified).
No mention of an author, and no title. I suspect that this is an index to the {i}Dictionary of Decisions{/i} by Lord Kames, covering cases until 1737. The indexed work was titled '{i}Dictionary of decisions{/i}', it had two volumes, and it was arranged under alphabetised keywords. The first volume had at least 600 pages and comprised at least the keywords 'Adjudication' to 'Moveable contract'. The second volume had at least 552 pages and comprised at least the keywords 'Nautae' - 'Writ'.
The index consists of separate lists of cases with pursuer's name starting with 'A', then with 'B', then with 'C', etc. For each index entry, the index gives the names of pursuer and defender, thereafter the date of the decision and the name of the collector who gathered it, and finally a pertinent keyword. Within each letter of the alphabet the law cases are enumerated in the order as they appear in the indexed work. The entries are thus not alphabetised within their letter of the alphabet
