Decisiones curiae supremae Scotiae - Practicks 1611/6/1 - 1626 etc .

This is a collection of short abstracts of decisions, usually without indication of dates or parties' names, often referring to decisions taken by 'My Lord Advocate', and at times referring to decisions of the Commissars of Edinburgh. The abstracts of decisions are at first grouped under keywords, but these keywords are not alphabetised. Later on, the scribe no longer cared to write keywords. Many Latin phrases are used. Because the 'Lord Advocate' is mentioned often, I tried to find parties' names (noted below) in the index to Hope's Major Practicks, but in vain.

Rare mentioning of dates: 1611/6/1 (fol. 159v), 1622 (fol. 162v), 1611/7/17 (fol. 166r), 1622/12/12 (fol. 169r) ... etc.

Rare mentioning of parties: Lord Sanquhar contra [{i}empty space{/i}] (fol. 164r), Mortimer contra My Lord Forbes (fol. 168r), William Naper contra Margaret Moubray 1626/2/12, Harie Ruthven contra Alexander Fothringhame (fol. 169v), Town of Selkirk contra Scott 1620 (fol. 171r), Lord Scone contra tenents of Blacknesse (fol. 171r) ... etc

No. of pages: Fol. 141r-176r
