Decisiones curiae supremae Scotiae - Practicks 1540-1549 .

No author indicated, no title. The items are not numbered. The text often differs from the provisional edition. In many cases it makes more sense. For item 145 the scribe added a date: 'i. of Marche anno predicto'. In particular, headings of items are often different. Many transpositions. An unknown item is inserted after the provisional edition's item 178: 'Onus probandi affirmativam de practica semper incumbit reo, ubi actor libellat negative.' The text is heavily abridged. Many items are entirely left out (e.g. items 3-4, 7, 12, 14, 16a, 18-22, 33-35, 37-38, 41, 62-63, 175). The scribe was not unskilled. He even copied some of the Jus Commune quotations correctly and made no effort to skip such quotations
