Handwriting in italics, very regular as if it were a printed book. The subsequent index to this text ends with a date: 1602/3/6. Craig must thus have finished his work by this time, at the latest. This fact also provides a date for Craig's main work, the {i}Jus feudale{/i}. In the beginning of {i}De hominio{/i}, Craig mentioned that he started writing his treatise on feudal law 'two years ago', thus in 1600 at the latest
