Very neat handwriting in italic characters. One scribe penned the entire volume. The order of arrangement in each title starts with abstracts of acts of Parliament, acts of the Secret Council, Acts of Sederunt of the Lords of Session; furthermore abstracts from the "Auld Lawis", partly referring to 'B.' = Balfour's Practicks; lastly 'practicae observationes' = abstracts of decisions
