  • Ulpianus. Whatever any seaman, vintner and stabler doe receave in ther custodie, unless they restore it (says the Pretor), I will ordain them to doe it. This edict is of very great wse, seing oft tymes men are necessitat to follow such persons faith and comitt ther goods to ther custodie.
