Incipit:

  • [{i}First items:{/i}] 5 June 1613. Sir Alexander Drummond of Medox, one of the Lords of Sessione and Admirall Deput to Lodwick Duk of Lenox, creats Mr. Jerime Lindsay of Dumgow(?) his coniunct depute, and they both creat deputs clerks, procurator fiscall and officers of the court the same day. John Young wes principall clerk at that tyme.

    1 December 1613. John Carmichaell persues Walter Williamsone and his ouners upon a charter partie for the price of 1300 dails, as they might have been sold in Humber in England ... quhich being found relevant and proven, the judge decerned the said skipper to make payment thairof in manner lybelled.

    15 December 1613. Patrick Ramsay persueing for severall debts, refers the lybell to the defenders oathes, who not comparing, the judge took the persewars oath upon the lybell and decerned accordingly.

    18 December 1613. Sicklyke in ane persuit for contraventione of a charter partie, the penaltie was decerned. And the rest of the lybell being reserved to the defenders oath personally apprehendit, and not comparing, he judge took the persuers oath and decerned accordingly.

    26 February 1614. Sir Alexander Drummond creats Robert Steuart, one of the ordinary massers before the Lords of Sessione, admirall depute within the haill bounds of the Admirality of Scotland.
