Explicit:
Apparatus ad Digestum novum D.50.17 de regulis iuris ("Londinensis-Moguntinus") . The text of the Digest and the apparatus are both written in the same colour, by the same hand, clearly Anglo-Norman, on lines which were drawn by means of an instrument which left traces in grey colour. Compass pricks for the lines can also be seen in the inner margin. The text of the Digest is written in larger script than the commentary. In places where the text of the Digest needs more than one line, an empty line is left free between the lines.
This is a hitherto unknown copy of a text edited by Severino Caprioli, 'Quem Cuiacius Iohanni tribuerat', Annali di Storia del Diritto 7 (1963) 131-248.
