Continuously written on two types of paper only. The collection is particularly rich in styles of summonds and other judicial acts. The model documents are taken from the reign of King Charles I. Browsing through them I found no year dates. Scots spelling is well maintained. The first few styles are numbered, but the numbering ceases with 29. Between present fol. 152 and 153 sixteen leaves have been cut out. The book also contains many styles from proceedings in court, and styles of documents obtained from the royal Chancery
