Ius proprium Scotiae - Practicks (general digest of law, systematic) (title 104 c. 1-24 Of brevis and retouris).

Probably copied from Balfour's text, but heavily shortened. Corresponds to the reprint 1962 of Balfour's Practicks, p. 418-424. The writer was not interested in texts from 'Regiam maiestatem' - in spite of the title which he chose for his collection of extracts (see below). He omitted almost all quotations from the "Auld Lawis" and from statutes, but he copied abstracts of twelve court decisions - although with many inaccuracies in the quotations:

No date, Patrik Earl of Bothwell contra Johne Simingtoune shireffe of Lanrik (= c. 1 of the printed edition).

No date, Patrik Blakiter contra the shireffe of Peibles (= c. 2).

No date, Archibald Ogilvie contra Baylzies of Dundie (= c. 3).

No date, Hough Douglas contra Mr. of Warthick (= c. 4).

No date, King contra Earl of Buchan (= c. 5).

No date, Reidheuch contra Drumond (= c. 8).

1500/11/7 Hutchison MacKarik contra Mr. Walter Kennidie shereffe depute of Carrik (= c. 11).

1516/1/12 King contra Henrie Stewart (= also c.11).

1503/3/4 Mungo Calder contra Thone (= c.16).

1504/4/27{i}no parties mentioned{/i}(= c.19).

1533/3/13 Johne Whythead contra Home (= c. 22).

1561/6/19 King contra Gordon (= c. 23)
