Acta litigationis Scotiae: Robert Rome of Dalswinton contra Earl of Nitgisdale, 1653 .

[{i}Incipit of the supplication:{/i}] Unto the honourabell Commissioners for Administratione of Justice to the People in Scotland humblie means and shewis Robert Rome, heritor of the lands of Dalswintoun, that, quair the said lands for my behove being adjudgit at the instance of the Erle of Nitgisdaill and (he?) having arreistit the maills and dewties thairof in the tennents hands.

[{i}Note on outcome of the supplication, pag. 241:{/i}] Edinburgh, 13 September 1653. The Commissioners grants the desyre of the supplication within writtin, dispensand with the tyme of vacance, and ordainis the shireff of Drumfreis and his deputs to proceed and administrat justice in the causs within specifiet.
