Partly with parties' names and dates. Latest date which caught my eye was 1671. Written from the end of the volume towards the middle.

At the beginning, at least one leaf is lost as the writing starts abruptly within the text of a Decree of the Court of Session - the copy of which ends on fol. 2r.

(fol. 1v:) The Lords of Counsall decreitts and delivers the said John Cranstoune of Skatisbas to haif committit wrang in (ane?) wrangous and violent occupatioune, laboring (maunring?) and not halding be him selfe his servantes to inpletts(?) and othres in his name or of his causing ... and thairefoir decretis and ordanis the said John Cranstoune to make payment to the said perswarie ... and ordanis lettres to be direct heir upon, give (n), reid beis in (horne?) as efferis [{i}abbreviation{/i}] (p..) (w)rittinn de libro actorum per me, magistrum Joannem Skein, clericum Rotulorum Regni ac Consilii s(erenissimi) d(omini) n(ostri) regis, sub meis signo et subscriptione manualibus.

(Fol. 7r ss.) Tack and assedation of landes; Redemption and renunciation; Ane inventare of writtes receavit from James Tait be William Smyth [{i}Dated 1629. Mentions many documents dated 1474-1627. There follow other documents, but none emanates from proceedings in the Court of Session{/i}]{i}.{/i}
