Ordo iudiciorum curiae Scaccarii Scotiae : explanation of 27 writs

Ordo iudiciorum curiae Scaccarii Scotiae: explanation of 27 writs . Procedure in Exchequer Court.

The Catalogue is almost completely wrong. This is not a MS, and not a fragment, and it does not contain styles. It is a complete booklet, printed, and it explains the writ procedure before the Exchequer. The writs are all directed to a sheriff or other officer, e.g. customs officer, commanding to do something, e.g. to summon a debtor of the king to appear at Edinburgh before the Barons of Exchequer. Page 13 mentions an Act of Parliament, enacted in the 29th year of King Charles II. Thus late 17th century
