[{i}Date of Sir Richard's work: on page 64 he mentions a book printed in 1555 - this is thus a terminus post quem. I have also read Alexander Viscount Kingston's additions in the hope to find informations about the fate of Sir Richard Maitland's library. Yet, Kingston does not mention the library, unfortunately.{/i}]
