Ius proprium Scotiae - Practicks (general digest of law, systematic) .

No mention of the author, no title. Written by several scribes, on two types of paper only. At fol. 63 change of hands together with change of paper. On fol. 243 the scribe indicates that he is now copying his model's folio 224. The model might thus be identified. The page in question is situated in the title 'Minor', and it starts with chapter 9 'Ane minor may be compellit to ansser anent the improbatioun of his infeftment'. Similarly, when copying the title 'Off cursing' (fol. 405 ca.) the scribe notes that this is '387 fol.' The size of the model's folios thus almost corresponded to the ones of the copy. The titles are not numbered, but the chapters within each title are numbered consecutively. I found no indication that a new 'book' starts, neither at title De actionibus civilibus, nor at title Act of adiornall. I had the impression that this copy is less abridged than others: Balfour's abstracts of statutes are copied in their full text, instead of being reduced to mere references to the printed edition of the statutes. I have not verified this in more detail
