ITEM No. 1 | Tractatus de unione regnorum Britanniae |
Tractatus de unione regnorum Britanniae
Author(s):
Incipit:
Explicit:
Tractatus de unione regnorum Britanniae .
No mention of an author. Text edited by C. Sanford Terry, Edinburgh 1909 (Scottish History Society, vol. 60), not from the present MS. Neat handwriting. On page 176 a long quotation from Aristophanes was written in much darker ink, in Greek letters. The writer explains that he had 'no leisure' to verify the correctness of the Greek text with the help of the edition by Stoberus, Geneva 1609, and thus 'I copied the Greek in hast, as you have it. March 3 day. Vale.'
