Decisiones curiae supremae Scotiae - Practicks 1469-1815 (alphabetical, 'Abbey' - 'Wrongous imprisonment'): (volumes 1-38, 1469-1800) .

[{i}Title page for vols. 1-38 = in different numbering vols. 1-19:{/i}] The Decisions of the Court of Session, from its first institution to the present time, digested under proper heads, in the form of a dictionary, in which all the decisions in manuscript in the library of the Faculty of Advocates are published for the first time, and those formerly printed are corrected; with additions and notes, by William Maxwell Morison. Edinburgh: Faculty of Advocates 1801-1804.

The volumes of the Dictionary contain abstracts of decisions of the Court of Session, drawn from a great variety of earlier collections, arranged under alphabetised keywords. Excerpts from times before 1660 are usually heavily shortened. They are always fully translated into 19th century English usage, also leaving out text passages in Latin and quotations of Jus Commune.

For the time before 1797, Morison modelled his selection on Lord Kames' Folio Dictionary of 1741 and its third edition of 1797 [{i}see above{/i}]. Yet, in spot checks on Sinclair's Practicks I found that pertinent extracts in Morison's Dictionary are actually longer than parallel extracts in Lord Kames' Folio Dictionary
