Informatio iuris: in causa testamenti Johannis de Lignano . Favouring the plaintiff. Label on fol. 485v: Bononiensis hereditatis, coram domino Trivultio, Discussed by Brix, 2016.
Fol. 480r starts with a sketched tree of genealogy. Uppermost Johannes de Lignano, from him descend two lines: [1] A(ntonia) filia particulariter instituta in dotibus. [2] Baptista.
From Baptista there descend again two lines: [1] Georgius, with a descending line leading to the plaintiff's name: Principalis actor Antonius Maria. [2] Guilhermus, from whom descend two lines leading to the names of the two defendants: [1] Cornelia, and [2] Margarita.
Thereafter follow quotations of relevant text passages from the testament: Verba testamenti.
Then start the advocate's juridical arguments against the defendants. He alleges, among other, that the two defendant females might actually be illegittimate daughters of their father, born to him from a concubine. And because this allegation would necessitate further investigation, the Rota judge should pronounce a Sententia remissoria = to send the case to the geographical region where the investigation shall proceed.
Fol. 485 is just a wrapper. The document was folded twice, vertically, and thereafter also twice, horizontally

Incipit:
