Ordo iudiciarius , ursprüngliche Fassung

Author(s):

  • Tancredus de Bononia

No. of pages: Fol. 37va-48vb

Rubric: Incipit ordo iudiciarius magistri Tancredi Bononiensis

Incipit:

  • Assiduis postulationibus me, karissimi socii. According to what Linda Fowler-Magerl wrote in her 'Ordo iudiciorum' p. 129, copies with incipit 'postulationibus' and explicit 'iudicum' contain the French recension of the work, whereas the original Bolognese recension had 'petitionibus' and 'rudium'. Under these criteria, Fulda D., Halle Ye 2° 60, Halle Ye 4° 3 and Uppsala C.581 should thus have the French recension. On May 20th 2013, however, she wrote to me that in her opinion 'iudicum' is Bolognese whereas 'rudium' is French. The latter would thus mean that Bamberg Jur. 34, Brugge, SB, 380, Klagenfurt XIX.a.10, Vaticano, BAV, Borgh. lat. 261 and Reg. lat. 1125 are French, whereas Innsbruck 27 is Bolognese. My own opinion is that the different recensions cannot be discerned so easily
