Author(s):
Theologia: Sententiae divinae . Theological sentencesA table precedes on fol. 4-5. Edited by Giuseppe Mazzanti, Guarnerius Iurisperitissimus, Liber divinarum sententiarum, Spoleto 1999 - who ascribes the work to Wernerius (= 'Irnerius') the glossator of Roman law saec. XII ineunte. The text is also preserved in two other MSS: Milano, BAmbrosiana, Y(?).40 sup., and Troyes, BM, 1317 - but these MSS lack the indication 'Guarnerius ... iurisperitissimus'. The authorship of 'Irnerius' is contested by Ronald G. Witt, The Two Latin Cultures and the Foundation of Renaissance Humanism in Medieval Italy, Cambridge, etc. (Cambridge University Press) 2012, on p. 239. (CHECK!) Cf.
