Ius proprium Scotiae - Practicks (general digest of law, systematic) (titles 'Ship lawis' to the end).par.

The text corresponds to the reprinted edition from pag. 623 chapter xli to the end: Ship lawis, Ordour of Chancellarie, Injunctions to the Commissars of Edinburgh 1563, extracts from Scottish Chronicles. Many words are anglicised. The references to Acts of Parliament are not to the Black Acts of 1566 (as in the printed edition of Balfour's Practicks), but to the collection edited by Sir John Skene and published in 1597.

This is a remnant of a MS of which only few leaves are left. Description taken over from the Catalogue and from W. C. Dickinson, 'A Manuscript of Balfour's Practicks', 22 (1925) {i}Scottish Historical Review{/i} 238
