Historia Scotiae : transactions betuixt the kingdoms of Scotland and England ... 1543

Historia Scotiae: transactions betuixt the kingdoms of Scotland and England ... 1543 .

This is the eighth volume of a series. Many encrypted letters, some of them not yet deciphered. The MS likens a group of MSS of similar content in the Cottonian collection. I therefore suspect that it might have belonged to this collection, formerly held at Ashburnham House. It is known that many volumes disappeared when the collection was rescued from Ashburnham House which burnt down in 1731. The Library's catalogue describes the volume in detail, and many items of the volume are calendared or even edited.
