Acta notariatus - Imbreviaturae . Notarial protocol book 1566-1612 .

This is not just a style book. It contains dated notarial acts, all written and signed by Robert Blair, notary - and some even bear his notarial sign (fol. 1v, 130r, 190r). All texts are in Latin. Draft notes are in Scots (fol. 3v, 108r, and strip of paper between fol. 37 and 38). Names of parties are at times written above the item, and at other times in the margin. The notary appears to have worked at Glasgow (e.g. fol. 3v, 84r, 87r, 128r).
